Sunday: World Cup, 38km, Place: 11th
I have never had the nice feeling beeing in the front positions, but the feeling of a broken rib was always with me. I was racing in the 20. positon at the beginning, and at the end I gained some places for good. Nothing really exciting happened what would be worth mentionning during the race.
The crowd here in Belgium is just amazing, and I wish I could do once very well here. Time will tell.
Now I am making a training break, and get some good and necessary recovery back in my hurt body.
Saturday: Time Trial, ~22min., Place: 23th
This is an improvement since the last one where I made 60. But riding against the clock will never be my cup of tee.
In the evening when I was doing a stretching workout, I just broke my rib again! It was not a good feeling I can tell, and still very painful. I hope the best for tomorrow and at least that I can finish the race.
