Sierra Nevada an altitude race! Many different ways to prepare for it.
Mine was to go on altitude already three weeks before. The first one just sleeping up in a mountain hotel close to our house, then moving to St. Moritz, before going into the dry climate in Sierra Nevada for the final week.
Well, a lot of moving, training and being focused, but unfortunately allready after 15min. I got a punchture on my front wheel, and just a couple minutes later the same thing happened again but this time at the rear.
Riding in a medal position, and being game over so soon, that was not what I had expected but racing is racing and hopefully the luck will be on my side for the next time, when we are going to race for the rainbow jersey.
